Gateway Student Reader Selectors

Student reader selectors commit to reading the preliminary list of 25 and help decide the final list of 15 nominees.  The preliminary list of 25 is released each year at the beginning of August.  Reader Selector ratings are due on December 1st.  Being a reader selector is a substantial commitment but one that many Missouri students enjoy.  Student reader selectors are crucial members of the Gateway team and their participation is very much appreciated.

Lee’s Summit West student reader selectors will meet twice before school first semester to touch base and talk about titles.  They will also meet in December for a celebration luncheon.
