Chrome Extensions

Throughout the school year you will be asked to use a variety of chrome extensions. There are three that the library recommends you install now. Visit the Chrome Web Store today and install the following.

Screencastify: Capture your entire desktop, browser tab or webcam. Narrate with your built-in or external microphone, and embed your webcam to add a personal touch.

Google Tone:  Google Tone turns on your computer’s microphone (while the extension is on) and uses your computer’s speakers to exchange URLs with nearby computers connected to the Internet.

The QR Code Extension:  Scan a QR Code using the webcam.
