As a tribute to literature and libraries, LSW students used literary themes as inspiration for art.  Last year marked the firth year of the festival and was a great success.  Approximately 300  art students participated and over 20 classes visited the festival and completed lessons based on the artwork and literary themes displayed.

Our students are sure to produce more fantastic pieces.  Expect to see minimalist pieces inspired by favorite stories, student belief essays and photos based on NPR’s “This I Believe” essays, drawings evoked from first lines in popular novels, and much more.
